My name is Ron Lord, that's short for Ronnie, not Ronald as you would expect.

However, at the time of my baptism at Streethouse Methodist Church, I was very young and didn't have much say in the matter!

As I have lived with the name for 60 years it doesn't really matter to me but I like to get it straight from the start.
