Colwyn Bay
We lived at Colwyn Bay from 1967 to 1969.
Colwyn bay is a peaceful seaside resort in the summer, but in the winter it closes down!
It is the administrative centre for the North Wales Police who's offices are situated in the lovely Eirias park which overlooks the sea.

The busy road passing through Colwyn Bay is a nightmare for pedestrians despite the A55 trunk road which by-passes the town, and one has to be swift of foot when crossing the road.
There is plenty of holiday accommodation of all types, which together with a superb beach makes Colwyn Bay a good choice for a summer holiday, although one sometimes gets the impression that the city fathers still don't know whether they want the town to be a seaside resort or not!
It is pleasant to hear Welsh spoken widely in the town.
Colwyn Bay is an deal base for exploring North Wales, its coast and mountains.
